In these archives you will find the videodocumentation of the contactfestival freiburg. We've downloaded the videos from youtube or vimeo, where they are also available for everybody.

If you are mapped and either not mentioned or don't want to be seen, just write us an email so we can change it!
We would also be happy to archive more videos. If you have some that you wish to share - just send them to us. We would also add links if you already published some in the net!
Every year the contactfestival freiburg supports the production of a video inside the Festival. We invite a different video artist for each edition, to whom we give a total freedom, regarding themes, interest, editing, etc. We offer this way the event as a frame for the video artists, to communicate through their film, what was calling their attention during the Festival and how they would like to share about it with others. The contactfestival freiburg is not responsibe for any chosen material.
We search every year for 1-2 video/film maker to do a documentation of the festival on the base of work exchange. If you are interested or know an interested person let us know.

The Performance 2019! With the wish to bring CI into performance and to acknowledge the diversity of approaches and practices at the Festival, this year we invite Alessandro Franceschelli (IT/FR) and Simonetta Alessandri (IT) as coaches/ creators/ curators to work onsite with the participants and to develop a duet, a trio and a quintet/group Performance of about 10-15 min each. As well as Chris Aiken, Angie Hauser and Ray Chung got invited to be part of the performance evening. |
The Talk 2019! For the 20th aniversary the Festival Organizors Barbara Stahlberger, Daniela Schwartz and Eckhard Müller and former organizor Benno Enderlein answered questions and told stories about the past 20 years. |
